Madeleine Shaw

Madeleine is sought after as a resonant, results-oriented speaker, facilitator and coach. She offers expertise in the fields of resilience, mindset, wellbeing, leadership capability and strategy.

With a top tier legal background, Madeleine has worked with leading law firms in Sydney and San Francisco and a major multinational corporation. While working in this sector, Madeleine had up-close and personal experience of the benefits of resilience and she became passionate about working with people to help them perform at their best, both sustainably and enjoyably.

At Springfox, Madeleine works extensively with banks, professional firms, financial services organisations, educators, manufacturing, FMCG companies and the public sector. Her down to earth style, combined with her laser focus, achieve great results for individuals, teams and organisations.

With a rare ability to build rapport and engagement rapidly and in often challenging situations, Madeleine is also an outstanding process facilitator helping groups and teams come together to create their vision, strategy and plan. She understands the intensity and pressure faced by people each day, and has experienced first-hand how resilience practices make a difference.

Described by many clients as a gifted facilitator and coach, Madeleine enjoys helping each person to feel and operate better for themselves and others, and finds it rewarding to see the knock-on effect of positive impact on the organisation.

Madeleine lives on the NSW Central Coast with her partner and daughter where she enjoys the change in pace from the working week in Sydney.

Madeleine’s qualifications include: BA (Juris), LLB (Hons), Accredited Executive Coach (Institute of Executive Coaching & Leadership). She is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (MAHRI).

"At the risk of sounding over the top - I felt it was a life changing course. Madeleine’s natural style with no notes just made it so easy to listen and take in what could potentially be one of the most important courses that we will ever take if you apply the knowledge that we learned."

Participant, Local Government

"Madeleine is a fantastic facilitator. The program is a great investment for any company who wishes to arm their employees with resilience to be able to be the best that they can be at work and for their customers."

Participant, Insurance Firm

"I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone considering it. It was interesting how many things I picked up in the presentation that I'd being doing that reflected weak spots in my own resilience (at work and at home). The course gave me simple, easy fixes to apply - things I could start doing right away! I went home feeling inspired to change some of my 'not-so-resilient' behaviours and with the tools to ensure a healthy mind and body."

Participant, Major Infrastructure Project

“This was a timely reminder of why resilience is important, at work and at home, but the really worthwhile aspect was the practical solutions. Small changes you can make that will have a material impact on your well being, and therefore productivity.”
